Experimenting This Month With New Collections

Finding it hard at present, to work on new 'Collections' of cards and to remember to post my work to this blog! Lol.
I've recently been 'experimenting'... using different kinds of 'embellishments' with my work: and I'm quite pleased with how these cards turned out:-

My First Twisted Easel Card

Had a little bit of spare time, so I made this for a friend:-

Teen Cards

Here's a couple pf cards, I made for a teenager's Birthday. I hear that she thought they were "sick" (which is new 'speak' for T-R-E-M-E-N-D-O-U-S! Lol...I'm happy with that.

Busy Times!

Well, THE WEDDING is finally over and it was a truly beautiful affair! Congratulations to Ingrid and Lee - they make a really lovely couple and I've already got some wonderful ideas for the (eventual) "New Baby" card...lol!
Here's why things have been hectic since my last posting:-

I also did all of the Invitations - Day and Evening; the Menu's and the Table Place Cards. It was a lot of work - particularly with my hand injury - but I'm so pleased with the results. Additionally, when I asked Ingrid to close her eyes as I led her to look at the 'display' of my work, laid out, ready and waiting for her big day, her reaction couldn't have been better! At that moment, the 5am mornings, made it all worth while.

A Thank You For A Teacher

A Thank You card for my grandson, AJ's Teacher, who did such a beautiful job of the school's annual musical, I thought I was watching "Glee!"

Welcome

Welcome to my Blog.
I've been making handmade cards for the past two years and unashamedly admit: I have found my utopia! There's nothing I like better than to be surrounded by blank card stock; backing papers and all the other beautiful 'condiments' that swamp me in my craft room!
The 'buzz' I get too from seeing the 'finished product' of my cards, has only twice before been surpassed: that was upon the birth of my beautiful baby girl and much later, that of her son!
I'm new to Blogging, so please forgive me if I'm not forthcoming with concise details on the stashes I use for my work because to be truthful, half the time I can't remember because its been neatly stored away - out of it original packaging! However, when I do have the information, I'll pass it on.
I've been commissioned to make a birthday card for a mate's girlfriend and have decided that'll be my first posting... Look out for it shortly.
